And so it begins! Breakfast with Aunty Fay, Deb, Marc and Hannah before our trip to Sydney to stay overnight. Then tomorrow we take off at 10:15. Excitement mounts I don't think it will hit me until I'm in that seat and tearing down the runway.

A mild hiccup last night with the cashcard but after sevral phone calls we got that sorted..... just before breaking point.

IT'S REALLY HAPPENING!

It's becoming more real now, Del has finalized our tickets and arranged the visa. We are leaving earlier now so we are staying in Sydney so as to avoid the early starts...too old for that sort of thing now!

The trials and tribulations, finally got the meds sorted the chemist over charged me $20.20... thats 1 night and 3 meals in Vietnam, not quite but you get the picture. Now for the cash passport - go to check the balance yesterday and , yes you guessed it , can't access my account and ITS ONLY 1 WEEK UNTIL WE LEAVE.... I'm not panicking... YET!

Meeting with Marg and Adele tomorrow, I hope they are as confused as me!

2 weeks and 1 day to go! Got the meds sorted and road tested the sandals and 1 outfit ..... worked well traipsing the streets of Sydney in 31 degrees. Not too hot and the feet aren't too sore! More walking coming up this week

Trying to finalize things, it's all the little loose ends that you need to tie up. Like today I discovered there has been a major mix up with the medication but the chemist assures me everything will be fine just come back tomorrow..... fingers crossed. And what to pack this dress, that pair of shorts I have managed to purchase several new wardrobes half of which I probably won't take.

Tomorrow the search for 3/4n black pants begins, wish me luck!

Still in the preparation phase, packing and repacking. Do I need this, do I need that? Will it be cold ,will it be hot? The list of to do things seems to be getting longer rather than shorter, but I suppose I will get there in 19 more sleeps.

So much to do to prepare for our adventure to Vietnam. Unfortunately it is only 3 saggy sisters this time and we will be chasing the lovely and clever Robyn as she ventures ahead of us beating a pathway through the treacherous jungles.
