A Day Around Sapa

Today we strolled around Sapa village and found some real coffee at a place called Hill Station ..... What a relief!

We visited a cafe called Sapa Chau that was started by a local H'mong woman called Shu Tan who used to be a guide but now has opened a school to educate the local H'mong children. She is only 27 and very inspiring.

Two young girls from the cafe, Lam(19) and Ca(21) took us to visit the Sapa Museum which explained many of the local tribal people and their handicrafts. Margaret has adopted them as her 2 new daughters( sorry Em and Anna). I think they have been the highlight of my trip so far. They were very sweet and gentle.

Oops big disaster ..... Forgot the passports but a lovely lady called Miss Anna saved our lives by getting her driver to bring them down from to Lo Cai. Phew!!!!!!
